Lueder Construction partnered with No More Empty Pots to bring the Highlander Accelerator – The Greenhouse to life, a 17,500-square-foot facility dedicated to enhancing food access and promoting self-sufficiency in North Omaha. This innovative project features a greenhouse with multiple growing areas that highlight vertical farming and sustainable agricultural practices, a commercial kitchen and food laboratory, training areas and offices, as well as refrigeration and freezer storage. The facility also includes a vibrant community market, creating a space where education, entrepreneurship, and access to fresh food come together. Through collaboration and craftsmanship, Lueder Construction delivered a purpose-driven project that supports community growth and a more resilient local food system.
