solid construction since 1884

In 1884, a small masonry construction company was founded in Omaha by A.C. Busk. By 1887 the business was providing general contracting services in the Omaha Metropolitan area. Roy M. Lueder joined the Busk firm in 1920, acquiring full ownership of the company when Mr. Busk retired in 1939. A year later, Roy's son, Robert G. Lueder, joined the company and the name of the firm was officially changed to Lueder (pronounced "leader") Construction Company.

In 1982 Ronald W. Ewasiuk became President of the company. Through a transitional ownership agreement, in 1985 the ownership of the corporation transferred to Ron Ewasiuk and other employees. Currently, Brad von Gillern is President and maintains controlling interest in the company.

Today Lueder Construction Company is a full service general contracting firm capable of self-performing concrete work, rough and finish carpentry, masonry, steel erection and pre-engineered building erection.

The scope and performance of the Lueder team can be documented by the number of varied construction projects undertaken in the commercial, civil, multi-family, institutional and industrial market.

The Lueder story is indeed a study in growth and progress. The familiar gray and blue project signs bearing the Lueder name on buildings at various stages of construction throughout the Midlands are a testament to the success of Lueder Construction Company
